- I was born and raised in kentucky. I grew up playing in the hills and climbing the old pine tree beside my granny's house. I couldn't have asked for a better childhood or a better family. There have been hard times, but we stumble through them together and continue to love each other. My life is filled with adventure in even the smallest things and I thank God for everyday I am alive. Currently, I am an expatriate Appalachian writer in the Midwest. Kentucky will always hold my heart.
